Project Name: Interior Partition Renovation Project for a Local Hotel in Kenya
Project Location: Construction site of a star-rated hotel in a commercial area of Kenya
Construction Area: 5000㎡ of fire-resistant partition construction area
This project is a key renovation and upgrade project for a local hotel in Kenya, mainly focusing on the re-zoning of the hotel's interior space and the renovation of walls. Considering the high density of people in the hotel's public areas and the strict fire safety standards, the project abandoned traditional wall construction methods and adopted a prefabricated partition structure using fire-resistant gypsum board combined with a light steel keel. This construction method offers rapid forming, good wall stability, and outstanding fire resistance, fully complying with local hotel fire safety regulations and long-term operational requirements, and is suitable for large-scale, batch construction scenarios.

The interior partition walls in this project uniformly use 1200*2400*12mm fire-resistant paper-faced gypsum board, combined with a complete set of zinc-coated light steel keel systems.
The 12mm thick standard fireproof gypsum board boasts uniform dimensions and a flat surface. Its core advantages include excellent fire resistance and flame retardancy, meeting fire stability standards and effectively preventing the spread of fire, thus satisfying the high fire safety requirements of hotel public areas. Simultaneously, the board also offers good sound insulation and moisture resistance, is sturdy, and is not prone to cracking or deformation under normal use. It can be directly painted or finished later, fitting hotel decoration standards.
The accompanying light steel keel includes ceiling, floor, vertical, and reinforcing keels, along with a complete set of specialized accessories. The frame features high strength and good load-bearing capacity, and the galvanized surface is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, ensuring stable adaptation to the local climate of Kenya. It prevents wall deformation and rusting caused by humidity and temperature differences, providing solid support for the fireproof partition wall and guaranteeing overall construction quality and service life.
This 5000㎡ partition system is used for non-load-bearing fireproof partitions within hotels, covering core functional areas and meeting the hotel's fire safety and space usage requirements.
Specific application scenarios are as follows:
Hotel Guest Room Partitions:
Used for dividing guest rooms into independent spaces, isolating rooms from each other, and separating rooms from public corridors. Utilizing the fire-resistant and sound-insulating properties of the panels, it meets fire safety zoning requirements while effectively isolating noise, enhancing the guest experience.
Fireproof Partitions for Public Areas:
Suitable for separating spaces in high-traffic areas such as hotel lobbies, corridors, public rest areas, and elevator lobbies. It strictly implements hotel fire safety zoning regulations while maintaining a neat spatial layout and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of public areas.
Functional Room Partitions:
Applied to functional areas such as hotel conference rooms, kitchen auxiliary areas, equipment rooms, storage rooms, and back-of-house work areas. With its excellent fire resistance, it avoids fire hazards from equipment and storage, adapting to the use of various functional spaces and fire safety standards.
Fire Safety Performance Meets Hotel Needs:
Specialized fire-resistant gypsum board boasts strong flame-retardant and fire-resistant capabilities, meeting Kenyan local hotel building fire safety acceptance standards, thus improving hotel operational safety from the source.
Efficient Construction, Suitable for Large-Area Projects:
Utilizing dry prefabricated construction, eliminating the need for cumbersome wet methods, the construction process is simple and the forming speed is fast, effectively shortening the construction cycle of large-area projects of 5000㎡, saving labor and construction costs.
Strong Environmental Adaptability, Durable and Easy to Maintain:
The light steel keel is rust-proof and corrosion-resistant, and the fire-resistant gypsum board is moisture-proof and deformation-resistant, adapting to local climate conditions. Long-term use is unlikely to result in quality problems, and subsequent maintenance is simple with low operating costs.
Combining Practicality and Aesthetics:
The partition walls are flat and sturdy. In addition to meeting fireproof, sound insulation, and partitioning functions, they can be adapted to various fine decoration finishes, matching the overall hotel decoration style and enhancing the overall decoration quality.
